Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable home ownership nationwide. The Senior Instructional Designer will develop and design engaging training materials to support learning and development initiatives for the Enterprise Supply Chain team. This is a full time position open for remote and onsite professionals; the team isbased in McLean, Virginia. The pay range is $40 to $66.50 per hour, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

Develop and design courses for web-based and instructor-led training
Design learning materials based on defined learning outcomes
Formulate knowledge checks and theory assessments to evaluate effective knowledge transfer
Create supporting materials such as videos to reinforce training
Assess audience learning needs and identify knowledge gaps
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop course content

Qualifications

Minimum five years of instructional design experience
Expertise using Articulate 360 software suite, including Rise and Storyline
Experience working with Camtasia software is preferred
Ability to draft content and develop graphics and videos based on SME feedback
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of adult learning theory
Familiarity with ADDIE and Bloom's Taxonomy methodology
Strong project management and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Share Point
Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, or risk management is a plus
