The Engineering Project Management (EPM) organization within Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student in a STEM Field for an internship opportunity.

The EPM homeroom owns end-to-end engineering efforts from concept to launch, connects technical execution to business performance, and leads multidisciplinary teams through product development on time and within budget. In this internship, you will support EPM employees to drive task execution, coordinate amongst cross-functional teams to meet schedule and cost targets for the program, while ensuring quality engineering design. You will learn how to enable teams to perform their best work and use data driven Earned Value Management techniques to track and manage projects.

You will develop a rare blend of technical and leadership skills on some of our most challenging programs, pushing the boundaries of technology and exploration for spacecraft buses, satellites, human rated spacecraft, or satellite servicing vehicles. This position will be located in Dulles, VA or McLean, VA. Join us and launch your career! Basic Qualifications A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria.

The candidate must:
* Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing a bachelor's/master's degree or higher from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026

* Be majoring in or having majored in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree

* Be available to work full-time on-site (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026

* Be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

* Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

* Previous internship/co-op experience

* Project management experience

* Leadership & teamwork capabilities

* Interpersonal communication skills

* Familiarity with spacecraft design and test

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint Intern Pay Range:
Bachelor's: $25.75 to $31.75 per hour Master's: $37.25 to $39.00 per hour Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
