Get SAT is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated HW Board Design Engineer to be part of the R&D of multidisciplinary Satcom systems.
As a specialized hardware engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex printed circuit boards. You will cover the entire process—from schematic capture and component selection to layout and production—utilizing Altium Designer. You will be responsible for ensuring high-speed signal integrity, thermal management, and the manufacturability of our PCBs.
Responsibilities:- Writing all needed development documents (Design Specification, HW Verification Plan, etc.).
- Creating complex electrical schematics.
- Choosing appropriate components based on functionality and electrical properties.
- Designing the physical layout of the board, including high-speed, multi-layer, and dense layouts.
- Performing Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis to ensure functionality, along with board bring-up and debugging.
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in board design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Altium Designer.
- Deep understanding of electronics, electrical principles, high-speed interfaces, and FPGA-based PCB design.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave.
- Mastery of digital and analog circuitry.
- Expertise with design software and working knowledge of electronics tools.
- Prototyping experience and knowledge of manufacturing procedures.
- FPGA Design - an advantage
- RF Circuit Design - an advantage
