• Design Engineer
• 7 plus years of professional experience in IT / Design
• 2 years of recent experience in estimation and system design
• Experience interpreting RFPs, SOWs, and blueprint drawings
• Experience designing integrated security systems (PACS, VMS, IDS)
• Knowledge of security platforms (Lenel, RS2, Hanwha Wisenet Waves, Milestone, Bosch, DMP, Aiphone)
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with codes and standards (ICD 705, UL 2050, ISA, IEEE)
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

• Develop system designs for access control, video management, intrusion detection, and intercom systems
• Create proposals including technical write-ups, labor estimates, and pricing
• Interpret RFPs, SOWs, and drawings to develop BOMs and technical solutions
• Develop project scope documents, equipment specs, and system layouts
• Create engineering documentation including riser diagrams, logic diagrams, and device layouts
• Support project managers with scope development, design, and contract execution
• Provide engineering support during construction and system implementation
• Assist with system programming, startup, and servicing support
• Participate in technical meetings with internal teams and clients
• Support projects from conception through completion
• Perform occasional site visits and project reviews
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
