Construction Manager 3The Construction Manager 3 is accountable for day-to-day leadership and management of the project construction site, ensuring the safe and secure operation of the site, maintaining adherence to project controls and scheduling milestones, and upholding Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards. This role develops a comprehensive scope matrix, incorporating site logistics, resource requirements, and initial work packages. The Construction Manager 3 plans, directs, and coordinates activities related to the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems, analyzing subcontractor quotes to address scope coverage and exclusions, and rectifying any ambiguities to ensure an executable scope of work.
Additionally, this role participates in the conceptual development of construction projects, overseeing their organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. The Construction Manager 3 leads the administration of site surveys, engages with customers and stakeholders, and utilizes Infra Link for comprehensive project management.
- Develop a comprehensive scope matrix, incorporating site logistics, resource requirements, and initial work packages. Analyze subcontractor quotes to address scope coverage and exclusions, and rectify any ambiguities to ensure an executable scope of work.
- Lead the administration of site surveys to identify constructability constraints, review engineering documents for compliance with design principles, codes, standards, and best practices, and oversee scheduling and execution field commissioning activities to verify proper implementation and functionality.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to build buy-in for modular construction projects, execute project planning and modular scorecard completion, review designs for constructability and logistical feasibility, develop QA/QC plans, use 3D scans for logistics plans, and oversee testing and commissioning throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize Infra Link for project management, applying lessons learned, creating and managing schedules, and reporting on production progress and issues. Use Infra Link’s mobile and web platforms to generate detailed reports on installation, testing, and asset management, implement production planning and tracking, and follow document control processes to ensure accurate communication with stakeholders.
