Position: Principal Financial Analyst (Shared Services)
As Capital One grows the operations and servicing teams become increasingly important to drive scale, differentiated customer experience, and efficiencies. This role will support the
** Shared Services team, within the Customer Service and Strategy Organization**, with a focus on operations and servicing strategy.

** is a new organization and this role will have the opportunity to build financial reporting, forecasting, and modeling from the ground up. You will manage financial performance and provide Shared Services leadership with financial insights, directly influencing strategy, and driving business outcomes.
* Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
* Able to critically evaluate broad option sets and present recommendations
* Effective under both open-ended and tight timelines
* Partner with leadership and business teams to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts to grow the organization
* Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiences
* Comfortable working in white space and the ability to get work done through others
* Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
* At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
* Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or military experience
* Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
* 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* 3+ years experience in financial services, banking or technology industries
* 3+ years experience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders
