We're working with a fast-scaling financial technology company headquartered in McLean, VA. They're backed by investors, growing aggressively, and adding an FP&A Manager (first FP&A hire) who will work directly alongside the VP of Finance on everything from annual budgeting and long-range planning to fundraising support and cross-functional financial partnership. This is an in-office role, Monday through Friday.
Looking for a background in Big4, TAS, FDD, Investment Banking. This role offers a Salary and Incentive Stock Options.
What You'll Own- Annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Financial models across revenue, unit economics, customer behavior, and pricing
- Monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking with executive commentary
- Cross-functional partnership with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Engineering
- Process and tool improvements to make FP&A reporting faster, smarter, and more scalable
- Board materials and fundraising support as the company continues to grow

- 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or Big 4 audit
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; BI tools or FP&A platforms (Adaptive, Vena, Pigment, Datarails) are a plus
- Strong command of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- The ability to translate complex analysis into clear, concise insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Startup or SaaS experience is a plus, particularly with metrics like ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, and cohort analysis
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred but not required
