About Global Enterprise Affairs and the Community Finance TeamGlobal Enterprise Affairs partners with external and internal stakeholders to create inclusive communities. The Community Finance team builds resident‑centered communities, originating debt and investing in low‑income housing tax credit through proprietary and multi‑investor fund structures.
Role SummaryAs a Manager in the Community Finance Construction Loan Administration (CLA) Team, you will manage a portfolio of standard and complex construction loans, primarily in multifamily low‑income housing tax credit transactions. Responsibilities include performing monthly due diligence on draw requisitions, verifying documentation, tracking budgets, and ensuring loan‑agreement compliance while conducting risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities- Administer end‑to‑end construction loan lifecycle, including review of documentation, attending closing calls, and setting up the initial draw process.
- Process monthly draw requisitions with full due diligence, manage bank‑controlled accounts (BCAs), track budgets, change orders, and equity contributions.
- Handle general ledger transactions, interest payments, and insurance compliance.
- Monitor maturities, coordinate extensions, process payoffs, and execute permanent loan conversions.
- Lead team training, onboard new members, and drive strategic process‑improvement projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
- At least 5 years of construction loan management experience.
- At least 5 years of accounting and loan operations experience, including direct preparation, review, or processing of loan documents.
- 6+ years of construction loan management experience.
- Experience with construction lending, LIHTC investment or syndication.
- Strong critical thinking, credit analysis, and problem‑solving skills.

Salary and IncentivesAnnual salary range in McLean, VA: $134,400-$153,300 for Manager, Process Management. Pay ranges vary by location; the actual annualized salary will be reflected in the offer letter. This role may earn performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
