Principal Associate, Financial Analysis – Risk Management and Risk Tech

We are seeking an intellectually curious analyst to join our team that runs financial planning and analysis for the Enterprise Risk and Risk Technology organizations. You will manage operating expenses for the largest vertical of the Enterprise Services & Staff Finance group, gain exposure to the Risk Management landscape, and help analyze how AI and other technology investments shape operations.

• Own budget, forecast, financial reporting, and variance analysis for areas of responsibility, ensuring data integrity as it rolls up through Finance and Corporate Planning.
• Communicate accurate and relevant financial information that empowers business partner decision‑making, including developing presentations like monthly business reviews.
• Generate cost models and scenario planning to analyze business metrics and influence leaders on how to balance business objectives with financial performance.
• Independently manage and prioritize workload, including ad‑hoc requests or special projects.
• Organize well‑managed processes and learn new FP&A and technical skills, leveraging AI where appropriate.

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination.

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis or financial modeling.
• Experience in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).

• Richmond, VA: $109,900 – $125,400 for Principal Financial Analyst.
