Accounts Payable Manager

Compensation

Compensation: $85k - $90k plus 15% annual bonus target.

• Managing the AP department handling all check disbursements, 1099 and tax‑related matters across multiple accounting systems.
• Developing, implementing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies for accounts payable to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Providing accounting assistance to the operations staff and responding to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Selecting and hiring employees for the group; motivating, training and evaluating employees to enhance performance and development; addressing performance issues and making recommendations for personnel actions.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of accounting experience with at least four (4) years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with Yardi or other large ERP AP systems, and with 1099 and unclaimed property tax filing.
• Property Management/Real Estate background preferred.
• Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, clients, and upper management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good presentation skills for educating internal clients.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
