About the Role
As a Client Service Associate, you will support Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and the Director of Client Services through a variety of activities, including client account set‑up and maintenance, paperwork, trade reconciliation, client transaction reviews, and execution of client and WFS tasks such as asset transfers and report preparation.

Responsibilities- Serves as liaison between clients, West Financial Services, and the custodian, supporting client relationship building and maintaining.
- Tracks and processes ad hoc client requests, answers client questions, and researches solutions.
- Proactively communicates with clients to anticipate needs, ensuring seamless service.
- Calculates and processes Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), charitable contributions, and estate distributions.
- Attends industry-focused seminars and webinars and serves as backup to office administration when needed.
- Suggests process improvements related to client service.
- Works with the client to open and fund accounts via electronic processes, ensuring all documentation is correct.
- Accurately sets up/reviews accounts in portfolio reporting systems, rebalancing, and Salesforce.
- Processes client administrative requests (account updates, distributions, deposits, transfers) efficiently and accurately.
- Reviews cost basis on new securities and coordinates with back office to maintain accuracy.
- Reconciles systems and researches exceptions. Maintains and indexes client files.
- Prepares reports for client meetings and participates in the quarterly billing cycle.
- Runs ad‑hoc reports as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
- Experience in finance or investment industry preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Strong organization skills, accuracy, attention to detail; ability to manage multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines.
- Expertise with portfolio management software such as Envestnet Tamarac and Salesforce highly desirable.
- Salary: $69,588.50 USD per year.
- Eligible for incentive compensation plan or discretionary profit‑sharing bonus program.
