* EY is a leader in serving the global financial services marketplace and the only professional services firm with a separate business unit dedicated to the financial services industry - the Financial Services Organization (FSO). Our focused model and bold ambition have put us at the center of the events that continue to reshape and redefine our industry, working side by side with a range of clients from our most venerable institutions to dynamic new entrants across Banking and Capital Markets, Wealth and Asset Management, Insurance, and Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction.
Our purpose is to help build a financial services industry in which financial institutions are trusted and flourish, and the global economy is healthy, growing, and secure. If you have a passion for rallying together to solve complex challenges, then come join our dynamic FSO team!
Our Business Tax Advisory practice gives you the opportunity to focus on U.S. tax information reporting and withholding matters. You will work in a collaborative environment on complex engagements across a variety of financial services sectors. We specialize in helping clients address mission-critical operational tax and customer reporting challenges, with experienced practitioners working across tax and operations to provide advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with colleagues to help clients understand relevant tax rules and implement changes to their operations, processes, and systems. The CTORS team serves clients in the financial services, banking, insurance, and multinational sectors, with engagements that may involve non-resident alien (NRA) withholding and reporting under IRC Sections , cost basis reporting, and other customer tax operations and reporting matters.
As you progress within EY and our CTORS tax team, you will become a trusted business advisor to your clients. You will benefit from being led and mentored by nationally recognized tax professionals, including some of the firm's most senior tax talent.
As a Manager in Customer Tax Operations and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in supporting financial institutions with regulatory compliance and tax reporting. You'll gather and verify customer documents in line with Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standards (CRS), update client records, and provide indirect tax reporting services such as WHT, GST, and VAT. Key responsibilities include:
+ Managing the end-to-end process for FATCA and CRS compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
+ Advising clients on regulatory changes and supporting their adherence to economic substance laws.

This may include interpreting IRS Code and Regulations, drafting technical guidance, performing data analysis, and developing requirements that help clients understand and implement complex tax rules. You may conduct gap analyses of clients' current policies, procedures, and systems and help document business requirements. You will be part of a team that develops project documentation, including presentations and process flowcharts.
You will also have the opportunity to support the development of innovative technology solutions and work with staff located in remote delivery centers.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering one or more processes, solutions, or projects, with a strong focus on quality and effective risk management.
