Financial Budget Officer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with various groups to assist in the development of Center's budget.
• Monitor the center's budget to ensure proper execution.
• Track and archive board-approved programmatic and financial requirements.
• Assist with monitoring anticipated resource requirements and actual expenditures for all Front Office activities.
• Draft financial reports to satisfy internal and external reporting requirements.
• Track external stakeholder funding and maintain configuration management of the Center's financial and execution documentation.
• Support the center's management of spending authorities.
• Support budget meetings by preparing necessary documentation and collection actions.
• Support creation of SLA, DocIDs, BCRs, and BLIs and support concurrence on budgetary requests.
• Assist in drafting SOPS and policies.

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• 15+ years of experience in federal budget/financial management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Hands-on experience with Agency budget reporting systems
• Deep understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and efficiency in dynamic and stressful situations
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience dealing with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, including Pivot Tables and other data visualization tools.
