Lead Teller - McLean

Position Overview

Lead Teller within PNC’s Retail Bank organization based in McLean, Virginia. The role requires a customer‑focused leader who coaches and mentors tellers, ensures accurate and efficient daily teller operations, and promotes PNC products and services through effective client interactions.

• Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience and improve customer financial wellbeing.
• Process a variety of customer interactions and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Educate customers on alternatives and options for managing financial transactions using technology and available resources.
• Identify banking opportunities during customer interactions and refer as appropriate to branch staff.
• Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
• Assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new‑hire selection processes.
• Ensure teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures and demonstrate sound judgment within established limits.
• Resolve transactions and customer issues through clear communication and problem‑solving processes.

Typical requirements for a role at this level include 1+ years of related experience. No university or college degree is required, but related product knowledge or certifications may be considered. A high school diploma, GED or military service may be taken into account.

Base Salary: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00 (subject to geographic location and individual experience). This role is incentive eligible based on company, business, and individual performance.
