Community Finance (CF) Loan and Equity Administration Servicing - Principal Associate
Capital One’s Community Finance team originates debt and equity to support affordable housing development. The Loan and Equity Administration Booking and Serving associate will report to the Booking and Closing Team Lead and process monetary and non‑monetary transactions related to debt and equity deals on the system of record (ACBS).
Primary Responsibilities- Process monetary (draw downs, pay downs, interest payments, capital calls) and non‑monetary transactions on construction and equity portfolio ensuring service levels are met in terms of timeliness, accuracy, quality and customer service.
- Utilize lessons learned and previous experience to perform research and adjustments to loan system data.
- Communicate with peers and business partners regarding transactions and exceptions.
- Work with Commercial partners to reconcile and prove daily totals.
- Monitor reports on the CF portfolio as necessary, including daily and monthly activity reports and metrics.
- Communicate with the Commercial Loan Platform team and manager as necessary regarding system issues, reports and modifications/enhancements.
- Effectively and appropriately communicate and elevate problems/issues, updates on daily workflow, associate performance and issue resolution.
- Prepare payoff information as needed.
- Clear exceptions as needed and respond to audit requests.
- Other duties as assigned.

BasicQualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.
- At least 4 years of Loan Closing, Loan Servicing, Construction Loan, or LIHTC equity experience, or a combination.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
- 5+ years of Loan Closing or Loan Servicing experience, experience or a combination of the two.
- At least 3 years of experience reviewing loan or legal documentation, a combination of the two.

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Chicago, IL: $98,900 - $112,900 for Principal Process Manager
McLean, VA: $108,900 - $124,300 for Principal Process Manager
This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
