Salary: $130-150K (depending on experience)

Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness and financial strength of new and existing commercial customers
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, credit reports, payment history, project backlog, and contractual obligations
  • Establish and monitor credit limits, payment terms, collateral requirements, and risk ratings
  • Manage the commercial credit portfolio and identify emerging risks and areas of exposure
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging, payment trends, and customer concentration risk
  • Review construction-related considerations, including project financing, bonding, retainage, liens, and contractor risk
  • Develop and maintain credit policies, approval thresholds, internal controls, and risk-management procedures
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Contracts, Sales, and Operations
  • Prepare credit-risk reporting and portfolio analysis for senior leadership
  • Support collection strategies and escalated high-risk accounts

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial credit, construction finance, risk management, or a related discipline
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong financial statement, cash-flow, and credit-risk analysis experience
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, and portfolio-risk management
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication abilities

Preferred Experience:

  • Construction industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, bonding, retainage, liens, and project financing
  • Government contracting experience is a plus, particularly supporting U.S. federal government or defense-related work
  • CFA, FRM, CRC, CBA, or a related professional certification is a plus
