In addition to these protective functions, as a Police Officer you will effectively represent the Agency and communicate with members of the public.
CIA Police provides a full range of high-quality security and police services through a variety of fixed posts, patrol operations, and specialty units. To qualify for a FLETC waiver, you must have graduated from FLETC and performed these duties full-time. Following graduation from FLETC, you will complete an additional ten (10) weeks of specialized instruction at CIA training facilities.
You will then transition to Officer-in-Training (OIT) status where you will be individually assigned to an CIAP Field Training Officer for operational training and final evaluations before appointment as Police Officers.
