Associate, Federal Healthcare Policy

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct policy research and develop policy briefs for federal healthcare agencies, focused on the mitigation of vulnerabilities to federal healthcare programs
• Support the development / evolution of KPMG's Federal Healthcare & Government Solutions methodologies and intellectual capital
• Synthesize / translate complex federal regulatory requirements into audience-appropriate communication and education materials
• Conduct policy research to assist in answering stakeholder questions related to federal healthcare programs, as well as support federal agency policy / operational decision-making
• Conduct research on healthcare industry trends to support federal agencies in policy-decision making and program implementation
• Draft action-oriented memos / presentations summarizing research findings, translating findings into actionable insights or considerations for federal agencies

Qualifications:

• A minimum one year of health policy analysis, regulatory compliance, or a similar role
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Exceptional ability to translate complex federal policies into clear, concise written materials for specific audiences
• Experience analyzing federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Strong research skills and the ability to independently develop an approach to answer nuances policy questions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for direct stakeholder interaction
• Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
• Applicant must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance
