Assistant Event/Operations Hospitality Coordinator

We are a premium Indian Fusion Catering Company in the DC Metro area. We are presently offering an Assistant Event Coordinator!

This is an hourly position: $19-$23/hr based on experience and eagerness. Full‑time or part‑time available.

The ideal candidate will get to experience the thrill of a fast‑paced wedding and corporate events industry. Opportunity to build multi‑tasking skills while gaining rich hands‑on experience and receiving feedback; interact with clients from the very beginning seed of their event idea to the culmination.

Position information includes:

  • Scheduling client meetings, documenting, filing, maintaining office organizational standards both physically and electronically.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Weekend availability and off‑site work at events in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area.
  • Assisting the Catering Manager with maintaining client services and other duties as assigned.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to pass a computer aptitude test.
  • Attention to detail, organization, ability to work independently and take instructions.

Prior experience that could be ideal:

  • Recent graduates in hospitality, event management, or related fields.
  • Restaurant experience (food runner, waiter, bartender, FOH).
  • Catering experience (preferred, not required).
  • Event manager background.
  • Strong attitude—willingness to do what it takes and focus on company mission.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with computers, Google Office Apps, Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be available on weekends.
