We are currently hiring for a Front Office Agent at Double Tree by Hilton McLean Tysons. This position is responsible for anticipating guest needs, processing check‑ins and check‑outs, handling reservations, and providing assistance with guest requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner while upholding our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities- Guest Service – anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner, process check‑ins and check‑outs, verify billing, create reservations, and handle special requests. Provide guests with knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services. Work cooperatively as a team member and support other departments when necessary. Follow the guest service recovery program.
- Financial Results and Cost Control – apply proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues, monitor room availability, enforce booking policies, and upsell rooms and amenities. Handle cash and financial transactions according to company procedures. Use equipment responsibly and adhere to cost‑control measures to reduce expenses and waste.
- Self/Workload Management – produce the required work volume by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties. Follow general work rules and department procedures and attend all required meetings.
- Safety/Risk Management – maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Follow company procedures for guest and team member incidents and understand emergency procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of prior guest service experience, preferably in hospitality. Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
