Manager, HR Business Partner
- Global Finance The Finance HR Team is looking for a Manager, HR Business Partner (HRBP) to work with the Global Finance clients to deliver on business critical people initiatives and talent strategies. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong knowledge of Human Resource practices,  relationship building, influencing, communication, judgment and problem solving skills; who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, and team
-oriented environment. In this position you will consult with senior business leaders, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, Compensation, Associate Relations. Diversity & Inclusion, etc. ) to effectively plan and execute on people strategies, HR processes, and data and reporting needs.
* Partner with clients to build trusting relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to successfully execute on HR solutions that are aligned to business needs
* Consult with associates, people leaders, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
* Coach people leaders on associate situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital One’s Include/Empower/Inspire framework), org design, and performance concerns
* Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within Finance and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business priorities
* Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans of control work)
* Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination, collaboration, and high performance

Basic Qualifications:

* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
* At least 3 years of client facing experience OR at least 3 years of consulting experience OR a combination
* At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
* MBA or Master’s degree
* Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
* 5+ years of client facing experience or 5+ years of consulting experience or a combination
* 4+ years of experience in in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting
* Experience working with Risk Management functions and data and analytics teams

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, HR Business Partner Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, HR Business Partner Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
