About the Role:

Job Title: Workday Consultant

Job Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to support implementation, configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of Workday modules.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong functional and/or technical expertise in Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, or Integrations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Workday implementation, configuration, and deployment activities.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Configure Workday modules such as HCM, Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Financials, etc.
  • Design and develop Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, APIs).
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
  • Perform system testing, UAT support, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues.
  • Provide functional and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security best practices.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday implementation/support.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one Workday module (HCM / Financials / Payroll / Recruiting / Benefits).
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process Framework.
  • Experience with integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Experience in data migration and system configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Certification (HCM / Financials / Integration).
  • Experience with multi‑country or global implementations.
  • Knowledge of HR or Finance domain processes.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.

Location: McLean, VA or Richmond, VA (Hybrid Onsite role)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$100, annually]/[$60.00- $70.00 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
