Director, HR Business Partner - Tech

For our client, we are seeking a Director HR Business Partner - Tech to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will serve as a strategic people partner to business leaders, helping connect talent strategy with operating priorities. You will work across leadership teams and HR functions to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives.

The position offers the opportunity to influence team performance, leadership capability, and scalable people practices within a regulated financial services environment.

Location:

Mclean, VA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $206,000 – $235,100 annually

• Consult with senior executives and HR teams to align HR strategy with business goals
• Lead the translation of business strategy into a talent strategy for an inclusive culture
• Define and deliver talent strategies that support business objectives
• Conduct strategic workforce planning, including succession planning
• Assess human the company risks and develop remediation strategies
• Influence prioritization of HR initiatives for maximum impact
• Provide coaching on leadership, teamwork, and organizational design

• 7+ years of client-facing experience or consulting experience, or a combination
• 7+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience (preferred)
• MBA or Master’s degree (preferred)
• Professional HR certification or equivalent (preferred)
• 9+ years of client-facing or consulting experience (preferred)
• 9+ years of HR or human the company consulting experience (preferred)
