Job Description
:
The Training Lead will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs, user guides, and rollout materials to support the successful adoption of new Enrollment System (ES) capabilities. This role ensures that stakeholders understand system functionality, process changes, and adoption expectations throughout modernization efforts and post-go-live support. The Training Lead works closely with business, technical, and operational teams to align training content with system behavior and user needs.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- This position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.
- You can be based out of the following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience developing and delivering training for enterprise systems or programs.
- Strong experience creating user guides, training materials, and instructional content.
- Experience facilitating training sessions for varied audiences.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex system behavior into clear, user-focused guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting system modernization or large-scale system rollouts.
- Experience supporting post-go-live adoption and sustainment activities.
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
- Develop and execute training strategies aligned with ES modernization milestones and rollout schedules.
- Identify stakeholder training needs across business, operational, and support roles.
- Create clear, accurate training materials including user guides, job aids, presentations, and reference documentation.
- Ensure training content reflects current system capabilities, workflows, and terminology.
- Deliver instructor-led and facilitated training sessions for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Support virtual and in-person training formats as required.
- Develop rollout materials to support system transitions and phased deployments.
- Support stakeholders during go-live and post-go-live periods to reinforce understanding and adoption.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure training materials are accurate and timely.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine training approaches.
- Ensure training materials enable users to perform tasks independently and confidently.
- Support knowledge transfer to operational and support teams.
- Maintain and update training materials as system capabilities evolve.
- Ensure materials remain accessible, organized, and reusable.
- Assess training effectiveness through feedback and participation metrics.
- Continuously improve training content and delivery methods.
