As the
** Certified Locksmith**, you will be installing, maintaining, repairing, and securing mechanical and electromechanical locking systems in high-security environments. This role requires exceptional technical skill, discretion, and strict adherence to security protocols to protect classified facilities, information, and personnel.
*
* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*** Install, maintain, inspect, and repair high-security locking systems, safes, vaults, doors, and access control hardware
* Service and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical locking devices
* Perform lock rekeying, combination changes, and key control management in accordance with security directives
* Support secure facility construction, renovation, and decommissioning projects
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with federal, agency, and intelligence community security standards
* Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, key inventories, and access changes
* Respond to emergency lockouts or security incidents as required
* Coordinate with security officers, engineers, and facilities personnel to resolve vulnerabilities
* Protect classified information and follow all handling, storage, and operational security procedures

* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

*** Certified Locksmith (e.g., ALOA, SAVTA, or equivalent recognized certification)
* Minimum 3 years of professional locksmith experience, preferably in government, military, or high-security environments
* Demonstrated experience with high-security locking systems and key control programs
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
