• Manage the implementation of a platform that will provide an innovative approach to provide oversight & governance for tech risk management.

• Define and deliver a product roadmap that enables best in class tech risk management objectives to implement a best in class business code management strategy.

• Lead a cross-functional team of tech risk SMEs, engineers and data analysts to design creative solutions to proactively embed well managed principles into business coding practices.

• Partner with a Technical Program Manager to integrate your platform with other products and platforms.

• Be part of a larger enterprise risk product journey to transform risk management through technology.

• Data Management Driven: You love the power of data and building in controls throughout the data management lifecycle to ensure execution matches intent at enterprise scale.

• Governance Focused: You understand policies and procedures are the secret sauce for being well managed especially when it comes to scripts created to make high impact decisions. Embedding these requirements into business routines and products ensures corporate success.

• Thought Leader: You help your team look for ways to do things differently or better by leading them through “What If” and “How Might We” conversations to drive toward the optimal solution for solving complex problems.

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

• At least 3 years of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in data product management, business analysis or data science

• Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Data Science or Computer Science

• MBA or Master’s degree

• 2+ years of experience in Agile product management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
