Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA
. This role requires deep expertise in designing scalable data models and overseeing data integrations and ingestion pipelines.
Rate Range: $80/hour to $83/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Lead end‑to‑end Salesforce Data Cloud solution delivery, including discovery, impact analysis, architectural design, deployment, and post–go‑live support.
- Architect scalable data models, ingestion pipelines, data transformations, and Data Cloud data flows to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee integrations between Data Cloud and external systems (CRM, ERP, marketing platforms) using REST/SOAP APIs, ETL tools, and enterprise middleware.
- Guide and mentor development teams, enforce best practices, conduct technical reviews, and ensure high‑quality engineering standards.
- Implement data governance, security controls, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR/CCPA across Data Cloud environments.
- Monitor performance post‑launch, proactively identify issues, optimize system health, and maintain architecture artifacts and documentation for stakeholder enablement.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, technical design, and enterprise‑scale solution delivery.
- Deep hands‑on expertise with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modeling, ingestion pipelines, data flows, and governance frameworks.
- Strong experience integrating Data Cloud with external enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, marketing platforms) using APIs, ETL tools, or middleware.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $83.00 per hour
