Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Dev Ops practices, Ab Initio, and Python development to support critical data and cloud transformation initiatives for Client. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience building, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud‑based data platforms while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
This role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams including Data Engineering, Infrastructure, and Application Development.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud solutions on AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Dev Ops best practices
- Develop and maintain Ab Initio ETL workflows and graphs
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Cloud Formation)
- Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, and integrations
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and ensure system reliability and performance
- Implement security and compliance best practices aligned with enterprise standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis
- Collaborate with data teams to optimize cloud‑based data pipelines
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud / Dev Ops Engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC, Cloud Watch, etc.)
- Experience with Ab Initio development (GDE, EME, Conduct>
IT) - Proficiency in Python scripting
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, etc.)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / Dev Ops Engineer)
- Experience working in Financial Services or Banking domain
- Experience with big data tools (Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark - nice to have)
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder communication
- Ownership mindset and proactive attitude
