Position: Data Solutions Architect with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to support a company focused on delivering industry-leading data intelligence, big data engineering, and AI-driven solutions. This position is hybrid in Mclean, VA. The Data Solutions Architect will partner with customers to execute short- and medium-term data engineering, cloud, and data science engagements using the Databricks platform. This role enables customers to accelerate their data and AI transformation initiatives and maximize the value of their data investments.

Responsibilities for the Data Solutions Architect include:
* Designing and building reference architectures, implementing customer use cases, and productionalizing big data solutions

* Scoping professional services engagements in partnership with project managers and customer stakeholders

* Leading customers through end-to-end architecture, build, and deployment of enterprise data and AI applications

* Providing escalated technical support, troubleshooting, and operational guidance for Databricks environments

* Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Support, and Customer teams to resolve issues and optimize deployments

Required Qualifications for the Data Solutions Architect include:
* 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics

* Proficiency in Python or Scala

* Hands-on experience with at least one Cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and familiarity with two or more

* Deep knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed computing concepts

* Experience with CI/CD, MLOps, and deploying scalable end-to-end data architectures

* Experience delivering technical projects, managing scope, and interfacing with clients

* Bachelor's degree
* Ability to travel up to 30%
Compensation for the Data Solutions Architect include:
* Salary Range: $161,280-$225,792 depending on experience
