* The Opportunity:

** As an intelligence analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand threats to the company. You’ll gain an understanding of various collection platforms as you explore new data sources, craft effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT). You’ll learn how to validate information and apply client tradecraft as you help build assessments for internal stakeholders.

You will become the authority on your topic, so your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to define your expertise, develop new skills in OSINT and intelligence writing, and share your skills with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools.

** You Have:
*** 2+ years of experience conducting open-source research, investigations, or intelligence work
* Experience summarizing open-source data into various finished intelligence products and reports
* Ability to quickly process and organize large amounts of information, and identify and assess items of greatest importance
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
* Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Psychology, Intelligence Studies, Terrorism Studies, International Relations, History, or Government Studies
** Nice If You Have:
*** Experience with information discovery tools, including Dataminr, TLOxp, and Lexis Nexis
* Experience conducting advanced internet-based research using Boolean logic, various online databases, and social media or social networking tools
* Experience in legal-based reach, due diligence reports, or court records
* Master’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Terrorism Studies, or a related field
** Clearance:
** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
