Job Description
Location:
Mclean, VA
Duration: contract or full time
Responsibilities- Analyze, design, and document Business Requirements; prepare functional specifications, System Module Specification documents.
- Prepare Testing Strategy, Technical design, unit test plans, and System Integration Test plans.
- Deploy code in Production and provide post‑Production support.
- Communicate and coordinate with technical and functional teams; demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates and prepare dashboard reports to meet customer standards.
- Over 10 years of Mainframe experience, including COBOL, IMS DB, DATAVAN, JCL, SAS, REXX, EASYTRIEVE, JOB TRAC, CA‑View (SAR), ISPW, File‑AID, DB2, SPUFI, VSAM, and IBM utilities.
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe and IMS, and experience with all listed skills.
- Mortgage domain knowledge is preferred.
- Well‑versed with full SDLC and/or Agile processes.
- Experience in Mainframe (COBOL/JCL/DB2/IMS/CICS) is mandatory.
