What You Will Do:

* Review business requirements and functional specifications to create technical specifications. Provides estimates and task planning as needed to support business cases and portfolio prioritization.

* Applies technical knowledge and experience to recommend solutions that achieve business requirements.

* Designs, develops, tests, and implements functionality in accordance with best practices and the system development life cycle.

* Develop business rules, workflows, scripts, and UI policies using JavaScript and Flow Designer

* Build integrations between Service Now and 3rd party applications

* Provide technical documentation including specifications, user guides, and knowledge articles

* Conduct code reviews and promote Service Now development best practices

* Stays current with Service Now advances to ensure that Guidehouse tooling remains relevant and up to date

What You Will Need:

* Bachelor's and 4+ years of equivalent experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree

* Experience in Service Now Modules ITSM/HRSD/SPM and tools UI builder/Workflow studio

* Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML, with understanding of Service Now APIs and integrations

* Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* What Would Be Nice To Have:

* Degree in Computer Science, or related field

* Service Now Certified Application Developer certification

* Strong analytical, problem-solving skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment while remote

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels

* Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility

* Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands

* Preference will be given to candidates who are located within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
