Power BI Data Analyst

Background:

We are the data and insights team for the Mars Learning organization and we have a need for a data analyst to build out a set of self-service dashboards to report on our priority learning programs around the business. This is an independent project-based role with clearly defined outcomes (build of 30+ dashboards) that also gets to collaborate closely with the learning data & insights team and customers to build reports that are critical to the measuring the success of our trainings at Mars.

We would like someone who is both independent and collaborative, as they will be working closely with the team but responsible for delivering dashboards independently, and able to be flexible as requirements may change while dashboards are being built and we expect feedback regularly.

We have 30+ dashboards that require full build (from a template) and sign off by our stakeholders; the project team will meet weekly to track status and timelines of all dashboards. Regular connections weekly with the line manager and team will be used to answer questions and discuss dashboard requirements/questions. This role will be working with Line managers, Insights managers, and full time data analysts.

Required Experience:

• Experience in data analysis and visualization of complex data sets
• Creation of Power
  
  BI reports and dashboards from datalake utilizing Power Query (M) and DAX
• Experience working with stakeholders to translate dashboard requirements
• Ability to develop and document standards for dashboards/reports and drive efficiency / reduce manual work
