Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a QA Tester. This is a full-time and hybrid role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Perform functional and quality assurance testing on software applications
* Develop and provide comprehensive test plans with existing requirements and document results
* Define and track quality assurance metrics such as test coverage, defects, test results and test status
* Perform all phases of testing including functional, performance, regression, and integration
* Provide resolution for all defects identified during testing phase.
* Display a high-level of initiative and troubleshooting skills.
* Support the development and validation of security and vulnerability tests against applications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other applicable disciplines
* 5+ years of experience with Automated QA testing and Agile methodologies, process and deliverables
* Demonstrated understanding of Section 508, and writing test scripts
* Experience with Performance testing (JMeter) experience
* Experience with coordinating test environments and test data for analysis
* Experience executing automated test cases and test plans
* Possess successful history of tracking and reporting testing progress across multiple releases
* Experience with test management tools like Jira or ALM
* Experience testing low code and BPM platforms (specifically Appian)
* Experience with Automation testing (Selenium/ Fit Nesse)
