Information Security Professional; Hybrid - in Office

Position Overview

Freddie Mac is looking for an experienced Information Security Professional to play a pivotal role in working across the Information Security department to improve overall scope, project and business as usual activities status tracking and support successful roadmap reviews with leadership.

• The Project Management Professional will establish an effective process to collaborate with different teams across the department to collect project, business as usual activities and issue status on a biweekly basis and maintain a report with the latest updates.
• Utilize standard project management tools to effectively track ongoing efforts, including project status reporting, business as usual activities, risks and issues logs.
• Gather milestone updates on monthly and quarterly milestone updates from respective teams.
• Partner with PMO team to understand roadmap guidelines and work with various teams across the department to review roadmaps, validate financial data, key performance metrics and ensure issues and controls are up to date.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development team to review and refine Information Security training course content, aligning it with organizational strategic goals and industry best practice.
• Work in close partnership with HR and reporting teams to finalize the user list, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of monthly, quarterly, and annual training sessions.
• Respond proactively to audit requests, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years' experience in Project Management.
• Strong facilitation and project management skills.
• Experience in discussions with senior leadership to understand vision and strategic goals.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Experience with Jira.
• Strong decision-making skills; problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior leadership.
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a group.
• Industry certifications such as PMP, CSM are a plus.

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site. The position has an annualized market-based salary range of $85,000 - $127,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
