Technical Delivery Managers provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams, drive implementation success, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Our Appian practice is led by alumni with decades of experience delivering mission‑critical solutions at scale.

• Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, Dev Sec Ops , and other program initiatives to drive technical success.
• Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions that fit their unique needs and ecosystems.
• Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies.
• Support pre‑sales activities: scope, level of effort, proposal responses, prepare SOWs, advise on project approaches, and present methodologies.
• Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit in client or back‑office implementations.
• Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge‑base articles for internal enablement.
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement and delivery practices.
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Mentor, train, and enable resources.

• 5+ years experience with Appian solutions.
• 5+ years related IT experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery.
• Strong integration design and development skills (data, reporting, etc.).
• Experience evaluating and resolving security testing issues.
• Experience with PaaS/SaaS configuration and support processes.
• Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and written; active listening skills.
• Analytical and strategic foresight.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high‑paced environment, multitask, prioritize, and manage independently and as a team.

  This is a hybrid position (on‑site McLean VA / remote).

• PaaS/SaaS or Low‑Code Platforms (e.g., Service Now, Salesforce, Appian, Pega, Outsystems, Bizagi).
• RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Authentication (SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
• Web services, integrations and middleware (RESTful/SOAP, Mule, IIB, Fusion).
• Cloud computing/IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Software troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Appian Senior or Lead Certification.
• Programming/Scripting (Java, C++, C#, Perl, Python).
• Data management and data visualization/BI.
• Content management (CMIS, Alfresco, Open Text).
• Dev Sec Ops .
• Machine learning, artificial intelligence.

Certification is preferred (list specific certifications as appropriate).
