Location:

Center 2 (19050), McLean, Virginia, United States of America.

• Drive the data management agenda for Capital One’s largest business division.
• Develop and execute data management strategy.
• Define and monitor KRIs and appropriately elevate non‑compliance issues.
• Oversee design and execution of data controls.
• Oversee data quality monitoring and data issue management practices.
• Monitor the health of the data catalog metadata.
• Manage a team of high‑performing data professionals.
• Position reports to the McLean, VA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, provided the applicant resides within commuting distance of the office.

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field AND 8 years of experience in performing data analytics.
• Alternatively, a master’s or equivalent degree in the above fields AND 6 years of experience in data analytics.
• 6 years of experience leading and developing with open‑source data technologies.
• 4 years of experience managing people.
• Ability to serve within telecommuting constraints and be resident near the office.
• Will not sponsor employment authorization.
