About the Team
This role is at the center of our strategy to empower developers by fundamentally transforming how software is released with fearless autonomous deployments. As the Product Manager for this outcome, you will lead the charge in removing manual bottlenecks from the release process.
The Mission: Replace manual intervention with intelligent automation—including automated testing, approvals, and deep production insights.
The Strategy: Utilize feature flags to decouple deployment from release, driving faster time-to-market and increased system stability.
The Ideal Leader: A passionate, technology-driven PM who empathizes with the developer experience and thrives on building tools that simplify high-scale delivery.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with developer platforms, Dev Ops tools, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, or large-scale enterprise platforms, particularly for internal developer customers
Deep expertise in the modern software development lifecycle (SDLC), including release engineering, progressive delivery, quality assurance, and automated testing principles
Proven experience translating complex business strategy and technical challenges into a clear, data-driven product roadmap

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Plano, TX: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
