Roadmap:
Define, communicate, and execute a multi-year technology strategy that aligns with long-term business goals and anticipates market shifts.Executive Partnership: Serve as a key advisor to the leadership team, translating complex technical concepts into actionable business opportunities and competitive advantages.
Innovation Engine: Manage the organization's innovation pipeline, encouraging experimentation through agile principles and the ethical integration of emerging capabilities like Generative AI.
Culture of Excellence: Foster a solution-oriented culture that values business enablement, high accountability, and a "security-first" mindset.
Strategic Change Management: Act as the primary catalyst for digital transformation, securing buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders, from Board members to field operations.
Talent Mentorship: Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing technical staff using a supportive, collaborative, and growth-oriented approach.
Unified Priorities: Drive alignment among individual IT departments to enhance success and impact across a strategic set of enterprise priorities.
Architectural Evolution: Lead the transition from a portfolio of point solutions to a more streamlined, scalable, and cost-effective architecture (Cloud, SaaS, Microservices) to support an evolving growth strategy.
Systems Harmonization: Direct a comprehensive enterprise-wide architecture evolution to better integrate systems and data, and enable workflow based technology capabilities through seamless data and process flow across disparate systems.
Core Systems Oversight: In collaboration with business owners, set the priority for modernizing and optimizing ERP, CRM, and Knowledge Management systems.
Governance & Optimization: Facilitate cross-departmental alignment through a robust systems governance structure, ensuring the organization maximizes the ROI of its software investments.
Process Re-engineering: Partner with cross-functional leaders to audit and optimize core business workflows, driving towards increased leverage of technology and automation to eliminate manual bottlenecks.
Fiscal Accountability: Develop and manage the total IT operating and capital expenditure budgets, ensuring strict alignment with strategic objectives.
Strategic Procurement: Oversee the fiscally responsible procurement of all technology assets, managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and service levels.
Mission-Critical Uptime: Lead the strategy and maintenance of all IT infrastructure to ensure national project teams and operations remain fully functional and connected 24/7.
Resilience & Security: Oversee the operability, health, and security of technology systems, communication lines, and equipment, prioritizing network health and reliability.
Capacity Planning: Review and manage IT resource demands to ensure infrastructure meets both current operational needs and anticipated future growth in a cost-effective manner.
Data as a Strategic Asset: Strengthen the data ecosystem through implementation of robust governance, data lifecycle management, adherence to privacy standards, and advanced analytics tools that facilitate high-level business decisions.
Security Compliance: Partner with senior leadership to monitor and validate compliance with internal controls and information security policies.
Disaster Recovery: Own the comprehensive disaster recovery strategy to ensure business continuity and zero data loss.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the operational and financial drivers of broader business management.
Innovative & Transformational: Seeks continuous improvement by developing new solutions while maintaining excellence in current commitments.
