Position OverviewIT Enterprise Business Technology Office (BTO) - Corporate Technologies department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated developer passionate about using technology to solve business needs. In this role, the successful candidate will be part of IT development, maintenance, & support work for systems used by various business divisions such as Chief Administrative Office (CAO) and Legal. This candidate will need to work well in a team environment and operate independently with limited oversight.

- Enterprise BTO provides end-to-end project management (concept to implementation) for a portfolio of projects, products and business initiatives sponsored by our Corporate Communications, Corporate Facilities, Economic Research, and Relations with Government Regulators & Industry business partners in CAO division
- Our team handles systems and applications used by CAO division to provide a wide range of services that support employees and corporate functions
- We work closely with our business partners to balance the needs of various partners including customer experience, risk management, data integrity, time to market and operational efficiency
- Ensure we understand and solve business needs utilizing a variety of state-of-the-art technology solutions including COTS, SaaS, and home-grown capabilities
- Engage with project stakeholders to understand business needs and IT specifications
- Research and evaluate different technology solution options including build versus buy or a combination
- Prototype and design systems based upon requirements and architecture specifications
- Develop, enhance, test, and implement solutions using SharePoint Online, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Power Shell, Microsoft Flows, Power Apps, SharePoint Framework Extensions, and other related technologies
- Participate in design, code, and other relevant project reviews
- Support production incident tracking, troubleshooting and resolution
- Support infrastructure upgrades and patching activities impacting business applications
- Support ad-hoc activities related to business technology needs and IT risk management
- College Degree or equivalent experience; work towards advanced studies/degree preferred
- Typically has 2 - 4 years of experience in design, development, deployment, and administration of SharePoint Online (SPO) applications including Out of the Box (OOTB) features
- At least 2+ years of experience with UI Branding and using jQuery, JavaScript, React, CSS, HTML5, Boot Strap and responsive design standards, and SharePoint Framework Extensions (SPFx), Office UI Fabric and Fluent UI
- Experience with Power Apps Form, Power automates, Modern site in SPO, Search customization OOTB and with SPFx
- Experience with migrating applications from SharePoint Classic to SharePoint Modern experience
- Experience with PnP Power Shell script, Graph API, REST API, SPO Connectors
- Experience with MS 365 features such as MS Teams, Azure cognitive services (Azure bot)
- Must have good problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to listen to customers and colleagues; convey ideas effectively; prepare written documentation
- Motivated to learn new technologies and identify process improvements and efficiencies
- Proactive in nature with customer satisfaction as a primary goal
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Experience in developing complicated SPFX applications
- Proficiency in using PnP Power Shell script to manage application efficiently
- Experience with developing business process and solutions using Power Apps and Workflows
- Understanding of mobility solutions with relation to SharePoint O365
- Knowledge of SharePoint Best Practices
- Microsoft SharePoint O365 and Azure certifications are plus
- Experience in creating reports, scorecards, and dashboards for Business Intelligence using Excel, Power Pivot, SQL Server Reporting Services or any such tools
- Experience with various project methodologies such as Agile, waterfall, and Dev Ops methodologies
- Experience working with Marketing, Communications, and Creative business teams on web page content and graphics design, digital and social media campaigns, etc.
