Lead Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to join our team. The position is hybrid in Richmond or McLean, Virginia.

• Act as the primary liaison between Product and Tech teams to ensure alignment, execution, and delivery across multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate and run project ceremonies such as stand‑ups and status updates.
• Capture notes, track decisions, and ensure clear ownership of action items.
• Follow up and drive accountability across stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and trackers using Google Suite tools.
• Support migration and conversion events, including occasional weekend coverage.
• Identify risks, escape issues appropriately, and help resolve blockers.
• Partner with Technical Program Managers and Product teams to ensure overall project alignment.
• Bring structure to ambiguous situations and recommend process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of Project or Process Management experience for Senior Associate level or 5+ years for Principal Associate level.
• Experience working across cross‑functional teams involving business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and action‑tracking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience working with or presenting to senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.

• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Certifications such as PMP, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Background supporting large‑scale migrations or system conversions.
• Experience managing vendors or external partners.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage tension within teams.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and change management.
• Willingness to support weekend migration events as needed.

Location:

McLean or Richmond, Virginia (Hybrid).

• Pay Range:
  Approximately $45.00 to $65.00 per hour.
