Deputy DevSecOps Practice Lead

Mc3 Partners is seeking a Deputy Dev Sec Ops  Practice Lead to drive and support delivery of Dev Sec Ops -focused work to the Federal market. This individual will report to the Dev Sec Ops  Practice Lead in the Chief Technology Office and will be responsible for providing strategic, architectural, in-depth solutioning and consultative skills to Mc3 Partners clients, leading a team of software development and IT operations-focused technology professionals, and supporting the pursuit of new Dev Sec Ops -focused business.

You will work with our growing Dev Sec Ops  practice delivering features to support cloud, testing, operations, application security, Dev Ops, and application development. We are looking for candidates with 10–12 years of experience with cloud platform services, application development, and Dev Sec Ops  practices such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and process automation. This role carries responsibility for supporting large-scale projects, mentoring teams of engineers, serving as a senior thought leader, and leading corporate sales, strategy, and delivery initiatives.

You will act as both technical visionary, hands-on coach to delivery teams, mentor to emerging technical leaders, and corporate technical sales representative.

• Serve as the Deputy Dev Sec Ops  Practice Lead across all of Mc3 Partners’ client delivery.
• Support defining, enhancing, evolving, and demonstrating Mc3 Partners’ point of view and delivery approach related to Dev Sec Ops , software development, IT operations, and integrated cybersecurity services to the Federal market.
• Support Mc3 Partners’ strategic business opportunities through technical contribution to sales and business development efforts.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills to effectively deliver messaging and collaborate with clients, employees, and partners.
• Foster and promote innovative thinking related to the use of Dev Sec Ops  techniques and related technologies across client projects.
• Serve as a thought leader and technology expert to clients and internal teams in the areas of modern Dev Sec Ops , software development, and IT operations.
• Build and maintain client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teams.
• Handle challenging client situations and offer technical and business guidance to client executives.
• Manage staff and monitor performance and training needs to promote skills expansion and career advancement opportunities.
• Interface with Operations Directors, Program Managers, and technical staff to develop, architect, and deliver world-class solutions.
• Design and support the delivery of enterprise-class Dev Sec Ops  services for Mc3 Partners clients to increase organizational maturity across the spectrum of Dev Sec Ops  capabilities.
• Understand and design engagements that promote and build a Dev Sec Ops  culture for customer engagements.

Required

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
• BS Degree in an IT field or BS in a non-IT field plus 2 years of related IT experience
• 8 years of experience with one or more clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 8 years of experience with Git SCM providers such as Git Hub, Git Lab, or Bitbucket
• 8 years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages
• 8 years of application Dev Sec Ops  experience with actual/active development experience in an Agile environment
• 3 years of experience implementing Docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes
• 8 years of experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Git Hub Pipelines, Circle
  
  CI, or TravisCI
• 5 years of experience integrating deployments with industry-standard Dev Sec Ops  tooling and orchestration
• Experience leading teams of cross-functional, technical resources as a technical lead or architect
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
• This is a hybrid role, located in McLean, VA

Preferred

• MS Degree in an IT-related field
• Certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Microsoft Certified Dev Ops Engineer Expert
  • SAFe Dev Ops Certification
• Experience documenting an as-is state of environments, performing gap analyses, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
• Experience leveraging Human-Centered Design successfully in customer engagements
• Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to develop training for technical staff
