Appian Consultant Job McLean area,Virginia USA,IT/Tech

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Experience working directly with stakeholders to define business processes and gather functional and technical requirements
Strong communication skills, a passion for technology and continuous learning, and a problem-solving mindset
Experience collaborating on cross-functional teams and participating in Agile development environments, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and iterative delivery
Foundational knowledge of object-oriented programming, relational databases, data modeling, and SQL development (queries, joins, views, etc.)
Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, including workflow automation, process improvement, or application development
Familiarity with software testing methodologies, CI/CD practices, and system integrations using APIs, web services, and database connectivity tools
Exposure to cloud technologies, analytics, AI/ML concepts, containerization, application integration, and modern development tools is preferred

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship required
1+ years of experience in software development, Appian development, systems implementation, or technical consulting
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
Ability to travel occasionally in support of client engagements
