IT Business Analyst

About the Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will help develop leading‑edge applications and systems. Working with business and IT system analysts, you will identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories, supporting the team in fulfilling these needs and delivering high business value products. U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within this facility.

You will work with an agile team to implement business analytics and processes, delve into technology trends, and deliver user‑friendly client experiences.

• 1+ years of experience working in a professional environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Experience with data analysis
• Experience with business analysis using web‑based systems
• Experience with customer service and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting the phases of the systems development lifecycle
• Knowledge of Data Governance governing principles
• Ability to multitask and respond to tight deadlines

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL to execute queries
• Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle
• Ability to learn new software tools and techniques quickly
• Ability to communicate with end users using business‑friendly and user‑friendly language
• Ability to be self‑motivated and directed
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively respond to user queries
• Possession of excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Possession of excellent organizational skills

Salary range $43,700.00 – $90,000.00 annually. Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

• Remote:
  If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

• Hybrid:
  If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.

• Onsite:
  If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
