Credence has an immediate need for a Technical Project Manager / Delivery Lead that will lead the STORES 2.0 transformation from the legacy STORES environment to a modern Service Now scoped application. This role is responsible for driving technical delivery, managing schedule performance, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring successful transition from legacy operations to STORES 2.0.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day delivery of the STORES 2.0 modernization effort, including planning, requirements, design, development, testing, training, deployment readiness, and transition from the legacy system.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team, including business analysts, QA/testers, trainers, developers, architects, integration resources, and technical leads.
- Drive execution using a modified SAFe Agile model, including backlog management, sprint planning, PI planning support, dependency tracking, release planning, and delivery reporting.
- Maintain an integrated delivery schedule with clear milestones, dependencies, critical path activities, risk‑based forecasts, and corrective action plans for schedule variances.
- Manage scope, priorities, and requirements traceability across business needs, user stories, technical design, test cases, training materials, and delivered functionality.
- Coordinate delivery of the Service Now scoped application with platform architects, developers, administrators, integration teams, security stakeholders, and platform governance processes.
- Oversee planning and coordination for data migration, system integrations, interface testing, reconciliation, and data validation activities.
- Manage release and deployment readiness, including go/no‑go criteria, defect burn‑down, stakeholder sign‑off, training completion, production support planning, and post‑deployment stabilization.
- Lead transition planning from legacy STORES to STORES 2.0, including cutover planning, operational readiness, user adoption, business process transition, and support for legacy retirement activities.
- Facilitate customer meetings, governance forums, stakeholder reviews, decision briefings, risk reviews, and executive status updates.
- Track and drive closure of risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, action items, and customer priorities.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, compliance, and authorization stakeholders to ensure security requirements, documentation, testing, and release activities are built into the delivery schedule.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and delivery discipline across the team while balancing technical complexity, customer priorities, and schedule commitments.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing IT application development, modernization, or enterprise software delivery projects.
- 5+ years of experience leading Agile or hybrid Agile delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 20 or more personnel across business analysis, development, testing, training, architecture, and technical delivery functions.
- Experience leading complex legacy modernization efforts involving custom application development, data migration, integration, testing, training, deployment, and operational transition.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, including backlog management, sprint execution, release planning, dependency management, and Agile metrics.
- Proven ability to manage schedule, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery commitments for complex, high‑visibility projects.
- Excellent customer communication skills, including the ability to brief senior stakeholders, facilitate decisions, manage expectations, and communicate technical issues in clear business terms.
- Strong leadership, organization, problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution, and team management skills.
- Experience delivering Service Now custom or scoped applications.
- Experience supporting Federal Government or DoD IT modernization programs.
- Experience with Service Now platform governance, workflow automation, integrations, data migration, and release management.
- PMP, SAFe Agilist, PMI‑ACP, Scrum Master, or related certification.
