Senior Oracle Functional Consultant - General Ledger (GL) & Fixed Assets

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets (FA) to support a large-scale enterprise financial systems environment. This role is ideal for a consultant who thrives in a production support environment while driving continuous system improvements and business process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for Oracle EBS R12 General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules.
• Analyze business requirements and design functional solutions, enhancements, and configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues through root cause analysis and timely remediation.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and asset depreciation processes.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with technical teams on reports, integrations, customizations, and system enhancements.
• Participate in unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with operational and financial requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and period-end close processes.
• Experience with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to create and interpret functional specifications and testing documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Oracle EBS R12 certification in General Ledger and/or Fixed Assets.
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving system issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environments.
• Prior post-implementation Oracle ERP support experience.

Additional Information

• Remote opportunity with preference for candidates located in the DMV area.
• Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• Occasional onsite travel may be required.
• Candidates must be available onsite during their first week of onboarding.
