Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, AWS, Azure
Job Number: R0239258
The OpportunityWe are hiring a hands‑on cloud engineer to close a domain expertise gap around listing, deploying, and operating partner‑ready offerings across cloud provider marketplaces, such as AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace. Publishing and transacting through these marketplaces requires correct placement of products and supporting infrastructure—including identity, storage, networking, deployment artifacts, and metering or billing hooks where applicable—inside central marketplace accounts.
This role will partner with product and platform teams to design repeatable patterns, implement secure baseline infrastructure per cloud service provider (CSP) rules, automate packaging and deployment, and document runbooks so more solutions can reach marketplace buyers without bottlenecking a single owning team. Over time, the same patterns should extend to additional channels, such as mobile ecosystems and other distribution models, once marketplace delivery on major CSPs is mature.
You will be the bridge that connects product teams with cloud platforms and marketplace mechanics. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud engineering
- Experience with core AWS services (compute, networking, storage, and security)
- Experience with marketplace product types (AMI‑based, container‑based, or SaaS)
- Experience with subscription lifecycle (subscribe, entitle, provision, meter, unsubscribe)
- Experience with key APIs (entitlement checks, metering and usage reporting)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager or Bicep)
- Experience with CI/CD integration for packaging and releasing marketplace artifacts (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Code Pipeline)
- HS diploma or GED
- AWS Associate‑level Certification (Solutions Architect Associate, Sys Ops Administrator Associate, or Developer Associate)
- Experience with publishing or maintaining listings on AWS, Azure, or GCP marketplaces
- Experience with SaaS and onboarding workflows
- Experience with software packaging (AMI builds, container images, or SaaS integration patterns)
- Experience with multi‑cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Gov Cloud)
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
- AWS Professional‑level Certification (Solutions Architect Professional)
