Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Duration: 12 Month Contract-to-Hire
Compensation Range: $46-54/hour (Final compensation will be based on experience and skillset)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our client (Fortune 100 Hospitality) in support of a dynamic Service Now deployment initiative. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring that complex business needs are accurately translated into clear, actionable technical specifications. You will play a key role in driving the success of the deployment by contributing to documentation, testing, collaboration, and continuous process improvement efforts.

- Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications to support a Service Now deployment
- Leverage experience with Service Now workflows and reporting to inform and enhance technical solutions
- Create comprehensive technical specification documents for development teams
- Refine user stories and use cases into detailed technical specifications
- Maintain and manage updates to all documentation as requirements evolve
- Work closely with Service Now developers to ensure full understanding of technical specifications
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during the development phase
- Develop and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications
- Support the testing phase to validate that delivered products meet specified requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in requirement gathering and documentation
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for technical documentation and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers and business stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment
- 3+ years gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical specifications
- 2+ years experience with Service Now workflows and reporting
- 1+ years experience developing and executing test cases and supporting validation efforts
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent certification preferred
- Relevant certifications in business analysis, such as the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), are a plus
