Eleven Peppers Studios is hiring a mid‑level UX/UI Developer & Designer. This is a full‑time role in McLean, VA requiring a government clearance (TS/SCI with FS Poly).

Salary is not disclosed in this posting. Market median for mid‑level Frontend roles is $108k–$156k (based on 40 comparable listings). Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

We seek a cleared UX/UI developer/designer who proposes powerful business solutions, cares deeply about the user journey, and elevates user experiences by bridging design and functional code.

• Manage communication websites, improving functionality using Word Press and Joomla.
• Build websites from the ground up.

• Bachelor’s degree in UX, Design or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience in front‑end development, web design, UX design or a similar role.
• Experience designing and developing high‑quality websites using Word Press and Joomla.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front‑end best practices in secure government environments.
• Experience with HTML and CSS.
• Skilled in developing wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups.
• Knowledge of human‑centered design methodology or design thinking principles.
• Ability to build and transfer websites completely from the ground up.
• Works independently and collaborates within a team.
• Has an impressive portfolio that showcases design experience.
• Can take the reins and manage projects throughout the website development process.

• Certifications in UX/UI, Accessibility, and/or Front‑End Development.
