How a UI/UX Designer Will Make an Impact:
- Collaborate with software developers and product teams to implement accessible front-end design modifications
- Create, promote, and support standards for usability and accessibility excellence
- Develop interface designs, prototypes, and detailed specifications across web and mobile platforms
- Produce conceptual interaction design artifacts, including wireframes, sitemaps, diagrams, feature lists, process maps, mock-ups, and working prototypes
- Translate user needs, product requirements, and technical constraints into thoughtful UX solutions
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Education:
BA/BS in Information Technology or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience - Experience:
10+ years of related experience - Required skills:
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end technologies
- Ability to create detailed UX assets including wireframes, user flows, and visual specifications
- Experience working within a cross-functional software development environment
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability standards
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location:
McLean VA, on Customer Site - US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $187,000 - $253,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
